CHIXDIGGIT (CAN)
In 2011 CHIXDIGGIT played in Oberhausen for the first time, although they played many European tours the years before. It was a small sold-out show with only 80 persons. Now they are back again, and this time there will be space for more people to join the catchy vocals of KJ Jansen. CHIXDIGGIT are from Calgary and were formed in 1991 when the High School friends decided to start a band. The first album (Chixdiggit!) on SubPop Records is a highlight for all pop-punk fans until today. In 2005 they signed on FatWreckChords, with bands like Teenage Bottlerocket, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes and Masked Intuder. Everyone who had seen them live knows, that there can’t be a better ending for a show like this.

RICHIES
After a long break the RICHIES are back with the original line-up again. They started in the late 80’s and become one of the most famous Ramones styled bands in Europe. In the 90’s they played a lot of shows in whole Europe and also hit to USA for tours, before they stopped around 1997. Have fun with the straight pop punk and celebrate that they’re back again in Oberhausen for the first time after about 20 years.

APERS (NL)
The Apers were foundes in 1996 in Rotterdam. In their band history they played over 700 shows all over the world. Beyond all doubt you can’t deny a big influence of the Ramones and particularly the Queers. The APERS are definetly one of the most important bands in the European Pop-Punk scene and have influenced a lot of younger bands until today. Kevin Aper is also running the Monster Zero Label which is a reference for good pop-punk stuff across the globe. If you know the APERS you know: “Everyday is a rock’n’roll day”!

NIMRODS
3 chords – 1 bass string – 0 Talent. That’s the truth about the NIMRODS. They were formed in 1997 in Oberhausen and played a lot of shows with bands like, Groovie Ghoulies, Chixdiggit, Teenage Bottlerocket, but they never used other chords than A-D-E. This concept sound simple and boring, but it’s successful and enjoyable all the time. Their live shows always are full of surprises, so be curious and keep ready your sparklers.

BREWERS
The BREWERS was formed in 2001 in Oberhausen. After many shows in Germany they also hit Italy for a small tour in 2007. Over the years they had different line-up changes, but they are back right now. If you like the Ramones you will like the BREWERS, too. 1-2-3-4…
